Intrinsic Guidance v.1.1: is This Eel Clan Effigy Warclub uses the warclub as a metaphor of power among indigenous people worldwide. The Eel clan is an symbol to many of the surface, often hidden, he is the protector of the environment and a water phratry. He can be the spiritual guide often appearing in dreams of initiating bringing a message of adaptation to the environment or situation, he brings the ability to overcome and persevere.

The story behind this piece is one which goes back to the first Intrinsic Guidence eel clan effigy warclub which was completed last year in 2023. as with most of my artwork, it is ever evolving as time goes on. My patron requested to have a piece similar to the one which was larger and that went to a collector in Upper New York state,

It took a couple of months, but came out better than anticipated. My most contemporary work was evolving from pen and ink drawings which were completed in the 1990’s as an extension of studies of design elements fron Polynesia.
